“Second time on the family week and loved it again!”
“We really enjoyed the family week last year and when we offered the boys the chance to go back this summer they leapt at it. As before, Matt and Jade were extremely welcoming and had a great week of activities lined up. I thought with this being our second year on the camp that some of the activities might not feel as exciting, but I actually enjoyed them all more this time. Rafting, hiking, high ropes and the biking were highlights for me and doing the long slide into the lake at Tignes is something I won’t forget in a hurry! The days work really well with the children going off for activities in the morning (allowing the parents a few hours off), and then having the family activities in the afternoon, and this year some fairly energetic outdoor team games were added in the evening which guaranteed that we were all ready for a good sleep. We were lucky this year to have Nienke helping to look after the children – she was great. The other families were also lovely and all the children got on really well. All in all a fantastic week, and the boys are already asking about next year”. Dr R Dineen, 3rd October 2016
“Best summer camp ever!”
“Dear people. If you cannot decide whether to go to this camp or to stay at home for the summer, choose to go, for it would be a grave mistake not to go to this truly awesome camp with adrenalin packed activities that range from white water rafting to jumping from a slide 10 ft into the air into cold yet refreshing water. This is the best camp I’ve been to in my life (and I’ve been to quite a few) and I highly recommend going, as while you’re at the camp you cannot stop feeling excited. Everything is well planned for the children to have the max amount of fun. Going to this camp truly gives fun and awesome another meaning! I cannot wait to go next year”. “Excellent outdoor summer camp for kids”
“This is the second summer that I sent my two boys, aged eight and 10, to this adventure camp. I had spent many hours scouring the Internet trying to find exactly the right summer experience for them. Although we live in Europe, I am American, and I was looking for something similar to what I had experienced as a kid in the US: canoeing, camping, wholesome food, no electronics. While the camp is small in terms of numbers, it has the right balance in terms of fun, outdoor activities and genuine attention to each of the campers. And the French lessons are a bonus. My little guy can’t eat certain foods, and they happily made alternatives, including cheeseless pizza. We will be back next year!”. Mrs L Johnstone, 28th July 2016
“Best camp in the world”
“This camp is the best summer camp in the world I’ve been 4 times and each year it just gets better and better!”. Will Dodds, 20th July 2016, aged 14
“Another amazing trip”
“I went back to Mountain Adventure Camps this summer after first visiting in 2014. This experience is second to none and both trips have been by far the best I have ever done without my parents. Unfortunately due to my schooling, I wont be able to attend next year. All I can say is that the accommodation is great and the activities are so much fun. If you’re thinking about going, do it, it offers you an experience that you’ll never forget. I thoroughly recommend Mountain Adventure Camps!!”. Megan Taylor, 27th November 2015, aged 15.
“My 3 loved it”
“I am the mother of three boys (ages 14, 12 and 10) who attended Mountain Adventure Camp this summer for 10 days in July. My oldest, Ryan, has gone to sleep away summer camps since he was 9 years old and this was the first time where he has ever attended and camp and said, “Mom, this is really the best camp I have ever been too! Not one of the other camps compares!” My middle son, Jack, said ” the adventures were really adventures and every day there was a new one…whitewater rafting, tree zip lining, mountain biking, sports all the time. It just kept going and the fun didn’t end.” My youngest son, Charlie, was the new camper and said, ” I would tell everyone that wants to be challenged and do crazy, cool things to do this camp!” All three cannot wait to go back.
As a parent, I can tell you the accommodations, staff, safety and even the food is top notch! When I picked my boys up from camp, I knew without hesitation by the smiles and enthusiasm of their stories on the way home that we had made the right choice in sending them to Mountain Adventures Camps. My husband and I both agreed we wish we could be kids again and be lucky to attend this camp. Matt and his staff have got it right!”. Mrs J Sheppard, 29th June 2014
